LPR decided to forgo the rules and structure of a traditional firm and ventured off to find exceptionally talented people that will make a difference.
Here’s a snapshot of our talented team of contractors, who are hand-picked to work on clients that suits their strengths and talents:
Angie Platt is a seasoned media relations specialist who has been around the block. She knows how to bring the media and blogosphere information of value to them, which in turn benefits the client’s bottom line. Her 15+ years of experience ranges from software solutions to hardware… and our favorite, ice cream companies.
Brooke Hughes can act the part of a journalist or producer because she’s not acting. She’s been there, done that. Literally. A veteran Lyman associate, Brooke’s experience includes years of work managing media and blogger relations for the firm’s clientele. Prior to Lyman, Brooke was an on-air TV personality, and hence, our spirited broadcast.
Carm Lyman prefers “Keeper of the Magic” over formal titles like “principal” or “president.” A seasoned PR pro – she’s seen the highs and lows of agencies, big and small. Her focus is always thinking one step ahead and netting ongoing results. Without a fancy title, she keeps her feet on the ground, and sows her media relations’ oats to her heart’s content.
Chris Lyman is a strategic, straight shooter. Chris is not one for hype and fluff – be it served to clients, media and journalists. Call it the ‘do unto others’ mantra. If you’re looking for experience, strategy and fresh thinking that meets today’s real world environment, exceeds expectations and pushes the envelope, then you’ll want to connect with Chris.
Elena Arney got her PR start in the White House under the Clinton Administration, but left politics for the likes of Sony, Sega, and Sony Online. She further honed her PR tech-pertise on accounts such as Intuit and VC Elevation Partners. Today, she welcomes the pressures of booking media tours and finding the best contacts for a story.
Jill Mayer is a team player who is always willing to jump in and do what it takes to get the job done. She values building strong relationships and the firm’s clients and teammates. No job is too large for Jill, she enjoys facing challenges and takes everything in stride.
Jody Privette brings clients 20 years of public relations and corporate marketing communications experience. She’s always ready to help a client blend traditional marketing theory with leading-edge public relations and communications. She has helped propel Fortune 500 to start-up companies alike into the business and trade media spotlight.
Kim Pryor is a long-standing Lyman PR writer that approaches writing from the emotional aspects of the consumer, balanced perfectly with the facts and needs of a reporter or blogger. When not working on releases or writing assignments for LPR, Kim is busy being a journalist.
Nadia Jamshidi has 15 years of agency public relations experience. She thrives on transforming complex technology into clear and succinct message because let’s face it, technical “mumbo jumbo” isn’t going to persuade media to write a compelling article. She has implemented high-impact communications strategies for a variety of companies.
Natasha Bourlin brings more enthusiasm to her job than all of us combined. She has a genuine love for people and PR that translates into relationships that make a difference. Her flair for creative ideas takes events and ideas to new heights. Her go-getter attitude is one that’s contagious across our team.
Ronda Scott knows how to think like a reporter, as well as a client. After many years on the client side, Ronda “crossed over” (gasp!). One of her key advantages is knowing how agencies can act, and how that made the client feel. She quickly learned LPR is different. Her smarts, PR thoughtfulness and desire for results makes her an easy fit.
